About Cooley Hair Center
Dr. Jerry E. Cooley founded the Cooley Hair Center and has been a practicing hair restoration specialist for over 25 years. His clinic is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, and attracts patients from all over the world. Dr. Cooley was the first hair restoration specialist in the Carolinas to be accepted into the International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons (IAHRS) and to be endorsed by the American Hair Loss Association (AHLA). He is also the only hair transplant surgeon in the Carolinas to be a member of the Hair Transplant Mentor™ group. Dr. Cooley has a strong commitment to research and has received three research grants from the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). He was also the head U.S. consultant for Intercytex, Ltd., a British company that was working on developing hair cloning technology. He is a past president of the ISHRS and was awarded the Platinum Follicle Award for his contributions to the field. His work has been featured in publications such as Wired, The New York Times, The New Yorker, GQ, and Esquire Magazine.

Happy with the outcome
Decided to go with Cooley Hair Center for my hair transplant after reading a lot of reviews. Dr. Jerry E. Cooley and the team were fantastic. Got 3500 grafts Sapphire FUE. The experience was professional from consultation through procedure. Recovery was as expected — some swelling for a few days, shedding around week 3. At 12 months I'm seeing good growth and natural results. At $5,400, it was a fraction of what I was quoted back home.Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the wait time on procedure day was longer than expected. But I'd still recommend them to friends and family.
