Declaratory Statement (2016)
Florida Board of Medicine Declaratory Statement (June 2016) explicitly stated that surgical excisions and incisions related to hair transplant grafts go 'well beyond the assisting of physicians' and cannot be delegated to medical assistants or unlicensed persons.
Facility Requirements
Informed Consent
Informed consent is required for hair transplant procedures in Florida.
Florida Statute 766.103 requires informed consent including nature of procedure, risks, alternatives, and identity of person performing the procedure
