Westwood, USA β€’ FUE β€’ 2800 Grafts β€’ 5mo post-op

Happy with the outcome

Decided to go with New England Center for Hair Restoration for my hair transplant after reading a lot of reviews. Dr. Ryan Welter personally handled everything and was incredibly skilled. Got 2800 grafts FUE. The experience was professional from consultation through procedure. Recovery was as expected β€” some swelling for a few days, shedding around week 3. At 5 months I'm seeing good growth and natural results. Cost me $6,300 which I thought was very fair for the quality.Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the wait time on procedure day was longer than expected. But I'd still recommend them to friends and family.

Pros

  • + Professional staff
  • + Natural hairline design
  • + Good aftercare
  • + Comfortable procedure

Cons

  • βˆ’ Price was higher than quoted

Bangkok, Thailand β€’ FUE β€’ 4000 Grafts β€’ 6mo post-op

Decent results, mixed experience

My experience at Absolute Hair Clinic was okay but not exceptional. The FUE procedure (4000 grafts) went fine, but the aftercare communication was lacking. I had questions during recovery and it took days to get responses. At 6 months post-op, results are decent β€” noticeable improvement but not as dramatic as I'd hoped. The facility and staff were fine, I just expected more hand-holding for the price I paid. Might be worth considering if you're an experienced patient who doesn't need much guidance.

Pros

  • + Realistic expectations set
  • + Hotel arranged

Cons

  • βˆ’ Post-op kit was basic
  • βˆ’ Shedding phase was stressful
  • βˆ’ Had to fly back for follow-up

Bogota, Colombia β€’ Sapphire FUE β€’ 2000 Grafts β€’ 14mo post-op

Solid clinic, good results

Had my Sapphire FUE procedure (2000 grafts) at HERO Hair Institute about 14 months ago. Dr. Juan Carlos Maldonado and the team were fantastic. The facility was professional and clean. Procedure took about 5-6 hours. Results are good β€” not perfect, but definitely a massive improvement. The hairline looks natural and density is decent. I might consider a small touch-up session in the future for the crown area, but overall I'm happy. Cost me $4,200 which I thought was very fair for the quality.Communication could have been a bit better during the recovery phase but the results make up for it.

Pros

  • + Great density
  • + Doctor-led procedure
  • + Excellent communication

Cons

  • βˆ’ Consultation felt rushed
