Before the transplant, Wayne Rooney had significant thinning and a receding hairline, characteristic of Norwood stage 3V. After the procedures, his hairline is much fuller and lower, and the thinning on his crown has been filled in, giving him a more youthful appearance.

Wayne Rooney has been open about his hair transplant procedures, the first of which was in 2011. He had a second procedure in 2013 at the Harley Street Hair Clinic.
