Lead Physician: Dr. Leone
About Hospital Capilar
Hospital Capilar was founded by Oscar Mendoza Sanmartín, who was inspired to start the clinic after his own hair transplant experience in Turkey in 2017. His goal was to combine the quality of Turkish hair transplant techniques with the stringent safety protocols of the Spanish healthcare system. The clinic has since become a prominent name in hair restoration in Spain, having treated over 4,500 patients.

Best decision I ever made
Where do I even start? I researched clinics for over a year before choosing Hospital Capilar and I'm so glad I did. The surgeon was skilled and efficient. Had 3500 grafts Sapphire FUE done and the results have been phenomenal. The facility was clean and modern, staff was friendly and attentive. Recovery was smoother than expected — I was back to work in about a week. 11 months in and my hair looks better than it did in my twenties. My confidence is through the roof. At $4,200, it was a fraction of what I was quoted back home.If you're on the fence, just do it.
Pros
- + Follow-up included
- + Hotel arranged
Cons
- − Waiting room was busy
- − Phone support hours limited

Great results, minor hiccups
Overall very pleased with my FUE at Hospital Capilar. Got 2000 grafts and the results at 14 months are looking really good. The hairline design is natural and the density is building nicely. My only complaints are minor — the waiting room was a bit cramped. But honestly, these are small things compared to the outcome. Cost me $5,200 which I thought was very fair for the quality.Would I do it again? Absolutely. Would I recommend Hospital Capilar? Yes, with the caveat that book your follow-up appointments early.
Pros
- + Minimal scarring
- + Fast recovery
Cons
- − Donor area soreness
- − Swelling lasted a week
